The last time I ate at subway, I thought I was dying. I have been eating at these establishments for years. My latest favorite was the Italian BMT with double meat, double cheese, double bacon(even though it doesn't come with bacon I had them do 8 slices every time), all the fixins, oil/vinegar, salt/pepper, on a 12 inch whole weat toasted loaf. The last meal I ate from there (with a friend of mine) just about killed us both. I have never felt so much pain in my life. Food poisoning sucks. We both returned to the store the following week to voice our complaints to the manager of the establishment in person, since we had been frequenting this particular eatery on a regular basis for about 3 years. We witnessed at that time, an employee preparing sandwiches with sweat dripping from his nose directly onto the sandwich he was preparing at the counter, in front of the customer. We emptied the store by pointing out the obvious to the other customers. Subway has some obvious health issues now that I read these other posts. The scary thing is..........we don't SEE most of our fast food prepared...........I cook most of my own food these days. What happens to it before I buy it? Cook well, eat well, and be thankful every time your meal doesn't bite you back!
